A new boy band is making its introduction to the pop music scene. Just Your Type, known as JYT, is a five-member group assembled with the involvement of songwriter and producer Freddy Wexler.
The group consists of Caden Adamonis, Tyler George, Bryan Chan, Recker Eans, and Toby Green. In a recent interview, the members discussed their journey together, their musical influences, and their ambitions as performers.
Rather than following a traditional casting process, the members helped select one another before beginning intensive training in Los Angeles. Their preparation included vocal development, choreography, and live performance rehearsals.
JYT draws inspiration from groups including Backstreet Boys, One Direction, and BTS, combining elements of classic boy band pop with contemporary production.
Signed to Republic Records, the group introduced itself with the single What U Want in December 2025 and has continued releasing new music throughout 2026.
The members have also emphasized their interest in performing live and building connections with audiences. With a growing catalog and a shared focus on music and choreography, JYT is establishing its identity in the pop landscape.
